Behaviour

0010Babies and young children go through various stages of development which can affect their behaviour.

We believe that each child is an individual who needs to feel valued. We help to build the children’s self confidence by responding positively to acceptable behaviour; to make positive comments wherever possible and value efforts and achievements. This will support children through any difficult times and nurture their personal development.

We recognise that each individual family’s experiences are different. Unforeseen and unavoidable issues such as ill health, bereavement and separation can interrupt children’s emotional development. We realise these are sensitive times but if you feel able to speak to your key person we will be able to offer you and your family extra support.

PHYSICAL PUNISHMENT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN AT RAWMARSH CHILDREN’S CENTRE.
